Section titled “Do I need to download an app?”No, StreamRTC provides complete functionality through WeChat Official Account and Mini Program. Simply search ‘Cube Unite’ in WeChat and tap ‘Mini Program’ to get started.
What Wi-Fi routers are supported?
Section titled “What Wi-Fi routers are supported?”Only 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi routers are supported. 5 GHz is not supported. 2.4 GHz provides better signal coverage for IoT devices.
How do I pair my device?
Section titled “How do I pair my device?”Please refer to the Get Started guide for device pairing instructions.
Device Management
Section titled “Device Management”How do I share my device with others?
Section titled “How do I share my device with others?”To share a device with others:
- New user follows ‘Cube Unite’ official account and completes registration in mini program
- New user taps ‘Me’ → ‘Bind Phone’ to complete phone binding
- Device admin selects device → ‘Device Management’ → ‘Share Device’ → ‘Authorize New User’
- Enter the new user’s phone number and confirm
- New user accepts the invitation in mini program
How do I change my device name?
Section titled “How do I change my device name?”Admin only: Open mini program → Select device → ‘Device Management’ → ‘Device Info’ → ‘Device Name’
How do I check firmware version?
Section titled “How do I check firmware version?”Admin only: Open mini program → Select device → ‘Device Management’ → ‘Firmware Version’
How do I unbind a device?
Section titled “How do I unbind a device?”Open mini program → Select device → ‘Device Management’ → ‘Unbind Device’
What if I change my router?
Section titled “What if I change my router?”The device needs to be re-paired. After re-pairing, the original admin and shared users will be invalidated. Please re-share if needed.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”I’m not receiving notifications, what should I do?
Section titled “I’m not receiving notifications, what should I do?”- Go to ‘Cube Unite’ Official Account → ‘Message Settings’ → ‘Enable Message Notifications’
- Tap user icon → ‘Settings’ → ‘Do Not Disturb’ → Turn off
Video Features
Section titled “Video Features”Why can’t I view live video?
Section titled “Why can’t I view live video?”Make sure your device supports remote viewing. If supported, use admin account:
- Open mini program → Select device → ‘Device Management’ → ‘Enable Remote View’
- Select online time period
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Completed pairing but not receiving messages?
Section titled “Completed pairing but not receiving messages?”Please check:
- Did you change router or Wi-Fi name/password? If yes, re-pair the device
- Did you pair with another phone? Use ‘Share Device’ function instead
- If neither, please contact customer support
Network pairing failed, how to fix?
Section titled “Network pairing failed, how to fix?”If using AP mode pairing fails, try these settings:
iPhone
Section titled “iPhone”- Settings → Cellular: Turn off ‘Wi-Fi Assist’
- Or temporarily turn off ‘Cellular Data’ during pairing
- Settings → WeChat: Enable ‘Local Network’
Huawei
Section titled “Huawei”- Settings → WLAN → More WLAN Settings: Turn off ‘WLAN+’
- Turn off ‘Network Acceleration’
Xiaomi
Section titled “Xiaomi”- Settings → WLAN → Advanced Settings: Turn off ‘WLAN Assistant’
vivo/iQOO
Section titled “vivo/iQOO”- Settings → WLAN → Network Assistant: Turn off ‘Dual WLAN Acceleration’, ‘Data Network Acceleration’, etc.
OPPO/OnePlus/realme
Section titled “OPPO/OnePlus/realme”- Settings → WLAN → WLAN Assistant: Turn off ‘Smart Connect Best WLAN’, etc.
